Ode to la luna.
Changing the tides as our wold turns.
Shining bright without an end in sight;
Pulling us inward, onward, upward;
Blowing mister sun a sweet kiss through the clouds;
Spinning as steady as earth ever does or will do;
Listening to every comet and each gust of wind;
La luna on a starlit night lingers until the Dawn;
In infinite, immense awe of the moon: superb in stature;
Let our lights shine;
Let us be a force for peace.
My New Year’s resolution is decided: embrace vulnerability.
In this podcast, Brené Brown explains how wholeheartedness enriches the experiences in our lives. Her points about “daring to care” illuminate struggles that are far too common for all of us - men and women alike. Highly recommended to anyone who is facing their fears.
Carrot, Cabbage & Beet Soup
1) chop veggies
2) sauté veggies (appx 10 mins)
3) boil veggies (then simmer appx. 2 hours)
4) blend soft veggies with water from boiling
I subbed rutabaga for celery + sautéed onions and garlic with 2 full carrots, 1/2 head of lettuce & 2 raw beets.
The veggies are so sweet and the soup is so smooth this goes down just as well for a morning juice as a supper soup.
Amazing photo project!

Working under the moniker, The Polaroid Kidd, Brodie spent the next four years circumambulating the U.S. amassing an archive of photographs that would go on to make up one of the few, true collections of American travel photography. Having never undergone any formal training, he chose to remained untethered to the pressures and expectations of the art market
Every time I see this series my jaw drops. Awesome stuff.
